Thank you Julia davis.
As a Norwegian we live with the vodka smell right out of windows. We have a border towards Russia. My mother always told me that if I lie, my tongue will turn blue. It is strange that Russian officials do not understand that it will not help talking, if you have wrecked your own credibility with stupid lies.
The have a foreign minister over there that call the shooting of the HM17 Malaysian airliner something the Ukrainian separatists must have done, and US satellite photos showing Russian troops invading Ukraine at night for something cut out from a computer game….It is clear that in Russia it is year 1929 still, as long as they dont think the rest of the world is a part third world country like that, this will go on.
My hat off to you Julia Davis!! You’re the greatest defender of evidenced-based facts and likely the biggest pain in the arrse for RasPutin!! Canada loves you!
Hello Julia! Maybe it is somewhat surprising, but i am from Russia and Thank You for these great posts as i don’t have so much time to watch this biased bullshit on my own TV.
Recently when i suddenly had some free time (and this happens not so often) , i made decision to watch some TV instead of reading papers and literature for PhD, decision of which I regret:) Instead of something i call news (i call news somehing like facts,references,non-stakeholder evidence, and something interesting such as culture, international politics but not that one-sided political-slang-like-delusions,science) i just seen one-sided bullshit(sorry,I maybe use this word excessively) without evidence and references to sources , and all over the programm hosts just were saying one and the same but with different words. And this is running continuously on all channels. I maybe detected some bias in your posts too , but its just interesting to see another side. All this remains without the attention of the population as it simply does not have time for it. Because they work all day (and sometimes the night) for a beggarly salary. Just because there is no other work. All these shit that our government says that mean salary in the country is 35000 roubles is really false , as mean salary is 35000 only in Moscow. The End.
Notwithstanding Russian corruption at all levels of government and society, it is important that countries like Norway, Sweden, the Baltic countries, and Finland get together in some way to form a military alliance against Russia.
That is their surest way to security.
